GEICO HOME INSURANCE
GEICO – Government Employees Insurance Company
The name goes back to GEICO’s first customers in 1936 who were
government employees and military personnel. Founder Leo Goodwin
went into business determined that he could deliver automobile
insurance at reduced prices by selecting prime customer groups and
marketing directly to them.
Goodwin succeeded in driving down operating costs and passed on the
savings to policyholders up front as discounts. GEICO continues to
find ways to manage its business costs in order to offer savings to
customers today.
Home insurance is a universal necessity; however, it is also one
that few people fully understand.
California homeowner's insurance makes perfect sense for everyone
who owns a home in this beautiful state. People spend a long time
searching out the perfect house that they want to live in for a
number of years and go through a process of saving money in order
to move into that place. Then comes all the hard work of finding a
lender and obtaining a home mortgage so that the home can be
purchased.
